  1. K-12 Educational Data Logging on tablets - Seeing results and finding weaknesses

    Talk about current programs and ways of logging the data of students. To allow us to see how much they are progressing, focusing on exemplifying the progress and highlighting areas that may need to be worked on.

    Can go into:
    What devises best fit this type of work.
    What programs and apps are currently available.
    What is the costs involved with the work.
    What type of information to log to show true progress.
    Ease of use and access to data.

      Never has being the most isolated land mass in the world afforded us such a great opportunity.

      Up until now the conversation has focused on K-12 or Higher Ed outcomes, when really we should be talking about K-Retirement. More than 80% of Hawaii's students that go on to college stay in Hawaii. An even larger percentage of those that graduate from college stay in Hawaii to work. Even with this glaring opportunity we have been slow to connect the dots that could help build a sustainable, responsible and cutting edge 21st century workforce.
